FORECAST FOR THE LESSER ANTILLES

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with some scattered showers and a chance of isolated thunderstorms mainly over the Leeward Islands. Elsewhere it will be fair to occasionally cloudy with a few showers.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK

Lingering moisture and instability in the wake of a tropical wave, along with favourable upper-level conditions, will continue to cause some showery periods and possibly isolated thunderstorms mainly over the Leeward Islands during the next 24 hours. 

Another tropical wave located a few hundred miles east of the Lesser Antilles is moving westward near 20 mph or 31 km/h and is expected over our region late Tuesday into Wednesday.

A third tropical wave located over the far eastern tropical Atlantic is moving westward near 14 mph or 22 km/h.

Tropical cyclone formation is not expected over the tropical Atlantic during the next five days.
